Laverda motorcycles and the 1000 Jota

Laverda motorcycles had the inline triple cylinder 981cc engine. The model name was the 1000 JOTA, which came in 1976. This Laverda was a true powerhouse in its day, even with 2 valves per cylinder, it was pushing 100 hp and 140 miles per hour.

The hot seller for 2010 in the 16 inch scooter wheel category will likely be the new Honda SH150i. The name is, well, kind of missing, but this Honda scooter is already winning a big fan base. The SH150i top speed is not really an issue because it will take you to 65 mph without complaining.

Italian motorcycles, such as Ducati and Moto Guzzi, have had a long history of having dry clutches. BMW has used dry clutches as well. By listening carefully, sometimes you can actually hear if a motorcycle has a dry clutch because a dry clutch often will rattle a little as long as the clutch lever is held in while the engine is running.
