Freestyle motocross rider Jeremy Lusk, known as Pitbull, died from injuries after a crash landing of a flip he was attempting on his motocross motorcycle during competition in Costa Rica on February 9, 2009. He was 24 years old.
He turned pro at 19 years old and had achieved success in the sport internationally. Most recently, he won two gold medals at X-Games in Mexico during 2008 and was on the Metal Mulisha Moto Team.
