Welcome future bikers, and welcome current bikers. My goal here is to share research to help folks arm themselves with useful information as they are thinking of getting a new or different motorcycle.Let’s have some fun as we explore what’s available in the world of motorcycles today. There is more available than you might think. I am happily suprised to see how much variety there is now. With the price of gas going up as it is, the variety of motorcycles will likely increase faster and faster as more people turn to riding to save gas. This gas thing could just be enough to push a lot of people into actually getting a bike for the first time, or at least the first time in a while.
Designs and classes of motorcycles are evolving. It would be a mistake to not look around and check out the new styles. In fact, some bikes don’t really fit any traditional style or motorcycle class, and that I think is really refreshing news.
Of course, cool custom choppers are on many street riders wish lists, but maybe the cost, or the size/weight could steer you towards other styles and other brands just to take a look. There is something for everyone these days, so you don’t have don’t have to ride something that you’re not comfortable on – in fact, that could be pretty dangerous, whether on a street bike or dirt bike.
I will focus mostly on street, but even the on/off road bikes are improving in big ways now.
